A very good friend of ours Mark Swales had a stroke on Christmas Day. Mark and his partner Pauline Cowley were regulars at gigs in the North East. Mark is currently on a specialist unit in Walkergate in Newcastle. Pauline lives on the outskirts of Billingham and doesn't drive. She also walks with a stick. For Pauline to travel to see Mark she has to get three different buses and a fair old walk to the hospital. An Uber taxi costs £40.
Some friends in Sunderland have put an event together to help raise more money. This event is being organised by Big Figure Promotions. Other bands confirmed are Cazimi, Cherry & Peesh and The Inklings with more TBC
